LEGACY GIVING

Have you been a long-time annual supporter of your local Parish or Mission? Are you interested in making sure your Parish or Mission continues to thrive well beyond your lifetime? Have you ever wondered how best to go about this? Many donors have chosen to address this issue by creating lasting Catholic Legacies through the Catholic Community Foundation.

The ten counties of Southwest Florida that comprise the Diocese of Venice include a total Catholic population of more than 235,000. The Diocese currently has 61 Parishes and 10 Missions to serve this population along with 265 priests and 32 permanent deacons.

Silver rose ceremony

Silver Rose Ceremony at St. Catherine Catholic Church in Sebring FL. Each year, from early March through mid-December, Silver Roses are stewarded by Knights of Columbus councils along routes from Canada to Mexico. Every stop the Silver Rose makes throughout the pilgrimage is a rosary-centered occasion for Knights, parishioners and community members to pray for respect for life, for the spiritual renewal of each nation, and for the advancement of the message of Our Lady of Guadalupe.
